Cleveland Slovenian Business and Professionals Association Request for Internships/Lodging Assistance

Good afternoon.

We have two Civil Engineering students from Slovenia looking for internships this fall in the area of Traffic and Logistics.  They have completed their undergraduate coursework, and internship is required in order to receive their diplomas.  They are looking for unpaid hands-on experience in their field, which could range from mundane tasks to project work.

Once the internships are secured, the two will need to secure lodging in the area.  They will still be receiving stipend from the university to help defray the costs. 

It is our hope to help place these two students in internships and assist with their search for lodging.  Please let me know if you and/or your company are able to assist.

Sva absolventa Prometa in Logistike na Fakulteti za gradb eništvo Univerze v Mariboru, Slovenija. Pred zaključkom šolanja naju čaka tudi praksa/pripravništvo kot zaključek izobraževanja. Tako si želiva letos jeseni opravljati prakso nekje v tujini, da se seznaniva tudi z drugačnimi pristopi k delu in razširiva najino znanje. Najprej sva se obrnila na vas, saj je lažje biti med rojaki, kot pa med popolnimi neznanci.

Prosila bi vas za pomoč pri iskanju ustreznega podjetja. Oba govoriva angleško in posedujeva dobro zanje računalništva.

Hello!

We are two graduates of Traffic and Logistics on the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Maribor, Slovenia. We have to accomplish some work experience before the end of the schooling. We have to accomplish some work experience before the end of the schooling and would like to do this in a foreign country this fall, to expand our knowledge in an international atmosphere. We first applied to you as it is easier to work with a fellow countryman than it is with a stranger.

We would like to aks you for some help in search of a suitable company. We both speak English and posses good knowledge in computer science
