Circle 2 Fall Concert
Slovenian Society Home - 20713 Recher Ave in Euclid, Ohio. The children will perform a short program starting promptly at 3pm under the direction of Shirley Ivancic Stall. Following the program, music will be provided at 4:00pm for your dancing and listening pleasure, by The Eddie Rodick Band. Sandwiches and beverages will be available for purchase. Doors will open at 2pm.

Concert at Slovenska Pristava
Members and friends of Sloveska Pristava are invited to attend an interesting concert of two accordion virtuosos from Slovenia. Tony Petkovšek and the Slovenian Radio club will host Miha Debevec and Tomaz Rožanec during the Thanksgiving weekend. Both are winners of numerous competitions in Slovenia. Miha is an expert on button box and Tomaz on classic accordion. The performance will be held on Sunday November 30, 2008 at 3 pm in the new Lausche Hall. After the concert Miha and Tomaz will join with our local Pristava musicians for your dancing and listening pleasure. Food and drinks will be available. See you there.

Koncert na Slovenski pristavi
Odbor Slovenske pristave vabi vse člane in prijatelje na zanimiv koncert dveh mladih harmonikašev iz Slovenije. Na zahvalni dan vikend obiščeta Ameriko Miha Debevec in Tomaz Rožanec, zmagovalca na mnogih tekmovanjih v Sloveniji. Debevec igra na diatonično harmoniko, Tomaž pa na klasično. Prireditev bo v nedeljo 30. novembra ob 3. uri popoldne v Lauschetovi dvorani na Slovenski pristavi. Po kratkem koncertu bosta muzikanta igrala za ples. Za pijačo in jedačo poskrbljeno

St. Nicholas Social Evening
The members of the Bishop Barage Society #257 of the KSKJ (American Slovenian Catholic Union) invite you, your family and friends to join them at the 44th annual Slovenian St. Nicholas Social Evenig, also known as Slovensko Miklavževanje.

The event will take place in North Chevy Chase Christian Church on December 6, doors open at 4.30 pm, program begins at 5.30 pm.

Activities will begin with a season program, featuring children’s program. For information on children’s participation, call Chris Bohince at 301-622-2934. The
visit by Saint Nicholas, accompanied by angels and devils, will follow the program.
St. Nicholas will oversee the distribution of gifts. Slovenian food, including
sauerkraut, and traditional pastries will be available for sale. Admission is free for members, and all children through 13. A donation of $3 will be requested of other attendees.

Slovenka Šola pri Sv. Vidu priredi Miklavževanje v nedeljo 7. decembra ob 3 popoldne v farni dvorani. Starši se bodo lahko pogovorili s Sv. Miklavžem od desete ure dalje v društveni sobi. Na dan prireditev bodo naprodaj tudi domače krofi. Vsi vljudno vabljeni!

St. Nicholas will visit St. Vitus Slovenian Language School on December 7 at 3pm in the parish auditorium on Lausche Ave. The program will begin with a short play performed by the Slovenian School children, followed by a visit from St. Nicholas. Admission will be $6 for adults and children are free. Everyone is welcome to attend this wonderful holiday event!
